Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping others achieve a stronger sense of self-awareness, direction, and balance in their daily lives. Creating a relationship based on trust, emotional safety, and vulnerability, is something she feels is the foundation to reaching success through the therapeutic process.
Jessica is experienced working with adults, children, adolescents, and couples facing a variety of challenges in their daily lives. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and a trauma-informed lens to assist clients in meeting their goals. She believes in taking a client-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy. Jessica seeks to understand her clients’ unique identity based on their family of origin, gender, cultural identity, and life experiences.
Jessica has worked extensively with children and adolescents experiencing a variety of challenges including behavioral issues in the home and school setting. She believes that including parents and/or important family members in counseling with children can help to create a better functioning home environment.
