Justine is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Substance Abuse Specialty and a member of the American Counseling Association. Justine earned her Masters’ Degree in Educational Psychology with a community and school counseling emphasis at UW-Milwaukee. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in Psychology and Human Development at UW-Green Bay.

Jade Holewinski MA, LPC

Valerie Hamilton MSW, LICSW, SAC

Valerie has been working with individuals, families, and couples for the past 35 years. She obtained her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1988. She has dedicated her career to helping others live a life, free from fear, insecurity, anxiety, and depression. Through self-acceptance, self-discovery, and commitment, she helps her clients find their most authentic self.

Megan Kaye MA, LPC

Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with adolescents and adults on their therapeutic journey. Megan aims to work collaboratively with clients and helps them to see their own worth and strengths. Clients can be assured they have a supportive environment to be themselves and feel empowered to live the life they deserve.

Dr. Steven Kaplan Ph.D.

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Kaplan completed graduate studies at The University of Wisconsin in 1981. He has taught a variety of courses in graduate and undergraduate programs, as both a full time and ad hoc faculty member. He has lectured in Ireland and in Bosnia, as well as across the United States on topics related to mental health, brain injury and rehabilitation.

Michael H. Winius, MSW, LCSW, CSAC

Mike is a Wisconsin Licensed Master’s Level Psychotherapist with over 45 years of experience in Mental Health/AODA (Alcohol & Other Drug Addiction) clinical issues. He has worked in healthcare settings his entire professional career, providing both inpatient and outpatient services. He counsels many with relationship issues, drug and alcohol problems, depression, anxiety, bipolar and dual diagnosis.

Jessica Drews, MSE, LPC

Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping others achieve a stronger sense of self-awareness, direction, and balance in their daily lives. Jessica earned her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UW-Oshkosh in 2014. Creating a relationship based on trust, emotional safety, and vulnerability, is something she feels is the foundation to reaching success through the therapeutic process.

Melissa Dawes

Billing Manager

Melissa joins JB Behavioral Health with nearly 25 years in the financial field. Over the past few years, Melissa has found her passion working in Health Care billing and insurance, particularly in Mental Health.

Melissa brings an appreciation for the complexity of billing and insurance and empathizes with the client need to receive both clear and accurate information.

Family and community involvement are very important to Melissa. In her spare time, you will likely find Melissa, Mike, and their daughters Alana and Mariah at a school or sporting event. When not volunteering or coaching at school, Melissa and her family enjoy time relaxing at the family cabin or hunting with their 4 dogs: Bailey, Roxy, Sadie, and Tracker.

Kendra Johnson

Client Service Representative

Kendra joins the JB Behavioral Health team with eleven years of customer service experience.   Having previously worked in supportive roles with both employees and consumers, Kendra takes pride in providing compassionate and collaborative assistance with each person she encounters.  Kendra possesses competence in many areas with a natural ability to adapt to new settings and demonstrated in each of her prior positions. In joining JB Behavioral Health, Kendra will continue her advocacy in the field of mental health. 

Kendra's creative spirit is exhibited in her love of painting, sculpting, and photography. She finds the most joy in spending time with her family with her husband Aaron, and their two children Beckham and Violet.  Experiencing family life while capturing her children's joy as they develop into intelligent, confident, and beautiful people has been the most wonderful experience yet.
